Record! Show! Radio! Shit is blowing up!

micodenoche3-1small-662x1024In a world filled with neglected blogs that are infrequently updated and all-but abandoned, this is definitely one of them. *Sigh*

ALRIGHT! Blow the dust off your zipper mask and PVC thong because Mico de Noche are having a record release blowout party at Chop Suey! Record release? Yep! We are releasing a new 7″ EP on extremely limited edition colored vinyl. As if that weren’t enough, there’s an extra track on the digital download version included with vinyl release. YOU’RE WELCOME!

We’ll see you at Chop Suey on 3/1/13 with Mos Generator/Ancient Warlocks/Serial Hawk. That’s four headliner bands for the price of one, folks.

Still not impressed? We’re also going to be the BJ’s Loud and Local Band of the Week on the BJ Shea Morning Experience on KISW 99.9FM. POW!

Mico de Noche 7″ EP:

New developments in MdN-land.

So we took a year off, then came back and hammered out a few killer shows. (Extra special thanks to all the clubs, bands and fans who made our triumphant return fully triumphant!) Now it’s time to take this shit to the Next Levelâ„¢!

Mico de Noche will be writing and recording new music later this month!

And then…

This happens. Mico de Noche will be joined by He Whose Ox is Gored, White Orange and the fuggin’ Ancient Warlocks for an extravaganza of heavy rock on Jan. 11, 2012! This is the show you’ve been waiting for. Charge up your Rascal, put on fresh Depends, pull out the feeding tube, and press pause on Bukkaki Angels 6. If you’ve never seen us, come to this show. If you’ve seen us before, come to this show. If you’re confused about your gender identity, come to this show. We can’t help you with that, but you’ll be rocked and that’s always cathartic. See you there!

We’re back!

What’s up, fuckers! We’re back! The MAN turned off our interwebs just because we didn’t pay the bill while we were on hiatus. (WTF? You don’t pay bills on hiatus! You take it easy, that’s the point!) Here’s our page on Wikipedia. We’re also on Facebook, and you should probably go there if you want regular updates and stuff.

Also be sure to check out our Reverb Nation page.

Thanks for being patient. In the mean time, here’s a clip of us playing Blues Shoes at our first post-hiatus show at McCoy’s in Olympia, WA.
